The 2nd time, the stylist talked too much and she did a horrible job. My daughter’s hair was puffy and her roots look like they were never touched.
I was told that Vanessa was the best one to go to but you have to schedule appts with her in advance.
PS: if your looking for good customer service this is not the place .
It is walk-ins so first come first serve. I had to wait awhile but that didn't matter because I came on a Saturday evening. She washed my hair which went fine. My stylist was ruff combing my hair. She straightened it with the blow dryer then flat ironed and wrapped it. My hair stayed straight for about 3 weeks with one touch up. After I washed my hair it had some parts that were straight at the roots and heat damaged. I have had my hair done by Dominicans in Atlanta and no heat damage. Maybe it was the blow dryer and flat iron. In Atlanta I did rollers and then they used the blow dryer. Beware.....

one of thee most professional, friendly, walk-ins welcome / first come first serve hair salon in town. i love that they speak in their native language. i love that that they can style any hair texture. And as a quiet person, there’s nothing better than having someone treat you with respect and you walk out beyond impressed without saying much. my only suggestion is they at least put some bachata/ music or even a t.v on. there’s no entertainment and if you don’t have your phone you’ll be looking out into space while here.
The smell is overwhelming. I had to keep walking outside for the diration of the visit.
Experience here was awful came around 2 didn't leave until closing time ( did I mention I was the last one to leave when I arrived ahead of several other clients ) paid 58$ to get a silk press the person who worked on my head did a rush job . YES my hair smelled amazing YES it was so soft and YES it was fluffy ..... But wait people WHO HAIR IS SUPPOSE TO BE FLUFFY WHEN THEY JUST PAID FOR A SILK PRESS . ( that night I wrapped my hair with satin scalf and a bonnet ) NEXT MORNING: Edges was BACK FRIZZY hair POOF like a poodle still soft NO BODY JUST FRIZZ AND ROUGH EDGES . Now to say I paid 58$ for a silk press I would at least expect to look like I JUST left the salon NOT like a Puff poodle . ( all in the matter of 24 hrs ) NEVER AGAIN .
I got off from work at 12. Made it there at 12:15 from Downtown. I got out of there at 3! Not bad to say I came in the evening. They move really fast!! The ladies are nice and always smiling. I even had lunch and came back and was called about 40 mins after. Great place! I’ll be back after I compare some others. I recommend
The first time was awesome. The only issue was she was being burned a lot because the stylist was too busy paying attention to her co-workers conversations. Not talking but listening with her eyes. She also clipped her ends nicely.
